We love to have Spaghetti and serve with these awesome rolls. For Thanksgiving we make my father’s famous spaghetti sauce and then we have this the day after Thanksgiving. (See Max’s Spaghetti Sauce on our website.
Garlic and Onion Pull Apart Cheese Bread
18 Frozen Dinner roll Dough, (Rhodes) or a recipe of your favorite roll dough
½ Cup Butter, 1 stick
1 1/2 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
1 Cup grated Parmesan Cheese, plus another ¼ cup for the top
Remove the frozen dinner rolls from the freezer and place onto a cookie sheet or plate. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and allow the rolls to sit on the counter for 30-45 minutes or until the rolls have thawed enough to cut. With a sharp knife or scissors cut each roll into 4 pieces.
Spray a Bundt pan with cooking spray.
Melt the butter in the microwave. Combine the Parmesan Cheese and the seasoning together in a small bowl. Roll each quartered roll into the butter. Then roll in the Parmesan Cheese spice mixture.
Layer the dough pieces into the Bundt Pan. Sprinkle the top with the additional ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese PLUS whatever cheese spice mixture you have left.
Cover the pan loosely with plastic wrap. Allow dough to rise in a warm place for 1 ½ hours or until double in size. Remove plastic wrap and bake in a 350-degree preheated oven.
Bake for 20-22 minutes. Or until golden brown and the rolls are cooked through.
Cover with a plate and tip over to place the bread onto the plate. Serve hot.
